The year is 1756, the equinox of the golden age of piracy.

It 's been a long and trying twelve months since Blackbeard bid farewell to the rocky coast of Maine, appointing Gumbatz, Governor, before he left, thinking he would return soon.

But a year has passed and Blackbeard has not returned.
The Gov'nr has to make it appear as justice is being served, so the trial of Anne Bonnie and Mary Reed will take place before the visiting magistrate.

The East India Company has taken control of most of the east coast and the remaining free pirates and privateers are convening in Rockland to decide the fate of the northern Maritimes.

Those captains and their respective crews allegedly attending this brethren meeting:
Capt Crudbeard of the Dark Rose
Capt KaLea Anne Black of the Flying Dragon origin unknown
Capt MacLier of the Specter from the shores of Burlington
Capt Latimer from the Mystic Damariscotta
Capt Thighbiter of the HMS Hellion
Capt Pratt of the MIM
Capt Boyle of the Picaroon Princess
Capt Jack of the Little Jack
Capt Ray from the Isle of Monhegan

They meet in secret, at night, during the day, at the tavern, on the green, all making deals, all trying to find something, to learn something, that will give them an edge.

Some believe the Gov'nr is hiding Blackbeard's treasure for him.
Some may even try to find and steal it, for within Blackbeard's treasure lays the eye of Lady Anne, the most beautiful gemstone ever seen.
It is said to be the size of a cannonball and worth a king's ransom.
When the suns rays hit it, it gleams like a beacon in the night.

Wenches, Rogues and privateers alike will be about this weekend all trying to make a deal. All travelers to this place be wary of scallywags, liars and cheats, listen to everything, watch for clues for one never knows when a deal made in secret will go bad and a melee may break out.
Enjoy your stay, learn a little history, savor some food, enjoy your day and remember your experience.
